We follow recommendations provided by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Department of Health and Department of Employment and Economic Development, and CDC for COVID-19 safety precautions for our staff and guests.

We believe that camping can be a safe experience when people continue practicing social distancing guidelines and wearing a mask when indoors. We constantly do everything we can to make your vacation a good and safe experience.

As guidelines for campgrounds are revised by the State of Minnesota, we will email our customers (click here to join our email list), post updates on our Facebook page and update our website with information that could impact your stay with us.

We are following these additional protocols to keep everyone safe:

  • Effective immediately, we are only allowing one person at a time inside the campground office. Free masks are available at the door entrance for you to use.
  • An acrylic barrier is at our counter to reduce air flow between customers and guests.
  • Hand sanitizer is available at the check-in desk for anyone to use.
  • All West Forty RV Park and Campground staff are fully vaccinated and have received booster shots.
    • All staff are testing for COVID regularly and must wear a mask whenever they are indoors.
    • All staff will maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from any guests when outdoors.
  • We encourage everyone to maintain a distance of 6 feet from all individuals who are not from within your primary household.
  • Please wash your hands frequently (for at least 20 seconds).
  • Please cover any coughs and sneezes.
  • Isolate from others or stay home if you feel sick or test positive for COVID-19.
  • Campers should avoid sharing personal household items like dishes, towels, bedding, etc.
  • We have increased cleaning and sanitation procedures for public spaces like bathrooms to 2-3 times per day on weekends and at least 1 time per day during the week.
  • Showers and restrooms are available 24-hours a day and sanitized to CDC reccomended guidelines daily.
  • We will open a porta-potty outside our office area whenever dependant campsites (those sites without water and sewer) are at more than 50% occupancy.
  • We encourage appropriate distancing whenever practical.

Any reservations cancelled due to a COVID-19 related illenss or exposure will have the full amount of their deposit refunded, minus the $3.50 reservation booking fee. No questions asked.
