May 24-27 Memorial Day Weekend - campsite availability is limited. Minimum 3 night stay required. This weekend will book to capacity - please book early!
June 7-9 Ladies Rock Off-Road (LROC) Women's Weekend of Wheeling - the entire campground is being held for this group; a Group Code will be distributed to weekend participants by the group organizers. (MN4WDA event).
July 1 - our new glamping, tent-cabins will be available for guests to book. More details will be available about this product in May and June. We will have a page dedicated to this new product on our website filled with details of what you can expect.
July 1-5 Independence Day week - minimum 2 night stay during the entire week.
July 18-21 Crawl 4 The Cure weekend - reservations may only be booked after registering for the event at https://crawl4cure.org/register/. Registration for Crawl 4 the Cure opens on or around April 1 - our campground is being held for the event! After you register for the event with Crawl 4 the Cure, you will be provided a Group Code to access reservations for camping in Gilbert. Both Sherwood Forest and West Forty are using the same booking process in cooperation with the Crawl organizers this year.
August 1-4 - MN Land Rovers event - The entire campground is being held for this group; a Group Code will be distributed to participants by the group organizers.
August 9-11 Northern Minnesota CampOUT weekend coordinated with Iron Pride. This year's Iron Pride festival will be held on Saturday, August 10. Other events are being planned for the Friday prior and the Sunday after the festival. Approximately 50 percent of our campground inventory is being held for this event. Any sites not booked by event participants by July 12 will be opened for general public booking.
August 16-18 Trail Jam weekend sponsored by Iron Rock Off-Road. The entire campground is being held for this event. Iron Rock Off-Road will publish our Group Code for the event when you register with them. (MN4WDA event).
August 30-September 2 Labor Day weekend - campsite availability is limited. Minimum 3 night stay required. This weekend will book to capacity - please book early!
September 30 - Glamping, tent-cabins close for the season.
October 4-6 Rock Rash (MN4WDA event) This weekend will book to capacity - please book early!
October 14 - campground closes for daily, weekly and weekend camping. Water service will be shut off for the winter when the last camper is checked out. We will continue to be open for our seasonal/monthly campers only.
October 15 - winter storage move-in appointments begin.
October 31 - seasonal camper move out day. This is the ast day for seasonal campers on to be on camgound property. Our gates will lock at 3 p.m.
