Firewood

Approved local firewood is available for purchase on-site in the office. Our wood bundles average approximately 45-60 minutes of burn time each and can be purchased at the office/store for $6.00 per bundle plus tax. We provide complimentary delivery of firewood to your site. You won't find a lower price per bundle anywhere in Gilbert, Eveleth or Virginia. 


Are you staying with a large group (6-8 campsites or more)? We can schedule delivery of a pickup truck load of firewood directly to the campsite you designate. A truckload is equal to approximately 55-60 bundles of wood but is not bundled when it is delivered. We need at least 7-14 days advance notice to schedule this option with our firewood supplier. A truckload of firewood is $150 per order.  We do the pick-up and delivery for you. We just need time in advance to plan the pick-up/delivery. All truckload orders must be pre-paid in the office by someone in your group.


Ice

We sell 8 lb. bags of ice for $4.00 per bag.


Propane tank exchange 

We offer on-site propane tank exchange for 20 lb. and 30 lb. tanks. A 20 lb. tank is $28.50 plus tax and a 30 lb. tank is $41.00 plus tax. 


Supplies

Did you forget something? Our campground store is growing with a number of items that people tend to forget to pack so you don't need to spend your vacation time running around Gilbert, Eveleth or Virginia. We have several convenience store items without convenience store prices! Here are just some of things you'll find in our store:

  • General purpose  - phone chargers, bottled water, soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite) by the can or 6-pack, candy bars, marshmallows, graham crackers (everything you need for making S'mores).
  • RV supplies - water pressure regulators, 50-30amp converter plugs, fuses, water hose, wheel chocks, RV toilet paper, black water tank treatment.
  • Camping supplies - lighters, tent pegs, tongs, roasting forks, table cloths, cups, cutlery, zipper storage bags, bug spray, batteries.
  • Personal care - towels, Tylenol/Advil, Toothbrush/paste.



Rental items

You can also rent all of the items listed below at our store.


  • ​Outdoor games - $5 per day. Games that are not returned will result in a $25 charge to the card on file. 
    • Axe throw
    • Ladder toss 
    • Bean bag toss (corn hole)
    • Bocce ball

  • 6 person tent (3 available). You pick an available campsite and we set up your tent before you arrive and take it down when you check-out. This tent is available for $10 per night in addition to your campsite rental. A credit card will be required. Minimum rental age is 18. Damage to this tent will result in a $50 charge. Pets are not allowed in West Forty owned rental tents.

  • 2 person tent (2 available). You pick an available campsite and we set up your tent before you arrive and take it down when you leave. This tent is available for $7.50 per night in addition to your campsite rental. A credit card will be required. Minimum rental age is 18. Damage to this tent will result in a $50 charge. Pets are not allowed in West Forty owned rental tents.

  • 10 x 10 pop-up canopy (2 available). We'll deliver the canopy to your campsite and help you set it up. Then we'll take it down after you check-out. This item is available for $10 per night in addition to your campsite rental. A credit card will be required. Minimum rental age is 18. Damage to this tent will result in a $50 charge.

  • RV/Camper power adapters - did you forget to bring an adapter? We rent 50amp to 30amp pigtails or 30amp to 20amp pigtail adapters for $5 per weekend. Don't want to rent? We have each of these items available for sale in our office/store, too!
