West Forty RV Park and Campground

Campground Map and Information

We have the largest camping sites in the area because we know that people need space! Especially when traveling with vehicle trailers or other off-roading equipment. All of our drive-through sites are 75 feet long and 30 feet wide (B section) and several other sites are 70-80 feet long including C-7 through C-11 and G-5. Our smallest site is 35 feet, which is the averagelength site at the next closest campground.

We allow one camper/RV per site and up to two drivable vehicles (i.e. tow vehicle and Jeep) per site and up to four ATVs per site. We have a large overflow parking space - FREE - for trailers and additional vehicles. Because we have the room, we also book up quickly on event weekends, so reserve your spot today! All campsite rentals allow for four people per site included in the base rental rate. Additional adults (those over 15 years old) will be charged $5 per person, per night.

About our setup:

  • Section A - is dedicated to people who camp with smaller equipment like tents, popup trailers, vans, truck campers and travel trailers 20 feet long or less. Sites in this section do not have water or sewer. Sites A1 through A5 are being upgraded to 30-amp electric and A6 through A13 will all have 20-amp electric by mid-summer.
  • Section B - all sites in this section are drive-through sites, have full water and sewer connections and are 75 feet long x 30 feet wide. There are a mixture of 30-amp and 50-amp electric available (light green on the map below are 30-amp sites and dark green are 50-amp sites). Sites B1 through B15 are dedicated to seasonal camping; sites may be available for weekend or weekly booking 14 days in advance of arrival date if the site is not occupied by a seasonal guest. All campsites from B1-B15 will have electric meters added in 2022; any reservations of more than 7 days on metered sites will pay for electricity used in addition to the weekly or monthly rate while they are occupied.

  • Section C - these sites have a variety of lengths ranging from 35 feet to 70 feet. Sites C7 through C11 have full hookups including water and sewer, while sites C1 through C6 have water only. Electric hookups at sites C2-C6 are all 30-amp service. Site C1 has 20-amp electric.

  • Section D - (coming in 2022) - we are adding ten new campsites which will be 75 feet long by 40 feet wide so you can park your camper, toy hauler or motorhome AND your OHV trailer on the same site. The sites in this section will include the largest campsites you'll find at any campground within 30 miles of Gilbert! These sites will be designed with full water and sewer hookups and 50-amp electric service. Our new restroom/shower building will be located near this section which will be open sometime mid-season.

  • Group sites:
    • Site G-1 - is an ATV/OHV or walk-in only group tent site and is expected to open in mid-summer. This site will be able to fit 4-5 tents and is nestled in the woods. No water or sewer. Generators are not allowed to run during quite hours, but can be used at any other time. Street vehicles, Jeeps & Trackers are not allowed to drive into this site. There is a small parking area at the entrance to the access trail.
    • Site G-2 - this site has 20-amp electric and can fit 4-5 tents or 2-3 tents and a pop-up or van. No water or sewer.
    • Site G-3 - is in a secluded area that's surrounded by trees at the top of the hill and can fit up to 4 tents. This is an ATV/OHV or walk-in only site. Paths to the site can be accessed by ATV or OHV and are about 150 feet from the parking area. This is a rustic site with no utilities. Generators are allowed whenever you need to run them.
    • Site G-4 - this site has 20/30-amp electric that is shared by two parking pads. Booking this site includes full use of our 20x30 pavilion and is a great spot for hosts of large groups - great space for preparing shared meals, etc. The parking pads are 38 feet long. Water access is nearby, but not on the site. No sewer. In the summer of 2022, this campsite will have an additional 30/20-amp electric pedestal added and will include improved access to water for both pads.
    • Site G-5 - this is our longest site in the campground at 80 feet for the upper pad and 75 feet for the lower pad. They share 20/30-amp electric, water and sewer. In the summer of 2022, this campsite will have an additional 30/20-amp electric riser added and improved access to water for the upper pad.
